About

Società Anonima Arte & Mestieri brings its services and its local bases across Europe into play, resistance is a form of pleasure since 1992 ©.

Consultancy, residencies, production design and fundraising are some of the things we know how to do and that we offer within an ecosystem of people, projects, architectures and archives.

SAAM is a non-profit organisation pursuing solidarity-based aims and purposes of social utility, promoting contemporary art, the performing arts, and artistic, curatorial and archival research.

SAAM works to support artists, researchers, curators, cultural workers and local communities, with particular attention to emerging authors, facilitating access to professional development pathways and to the means of production, and giving rise to creative ecosystems that practise mutualism and cooperation.

SAAM recognises research, training, hospitality, and cultural and social planning as instruments of emancipation, inclusion, local rootedness, and social and economic development. The Association draws inspiration for its work from the principles of autonomy, participation, solidarity, diversity, equal opportunities, care for the commons, valuing of differences and local rootedness, promoting an integrated model that combines cultural production, hospitality, professional support and social utility.
